this is one of my favorite all-time songs. i relate to it really well now that i'm about to graduate from high school. with the rise of the sundays after the issuing of "reading, writing, arithmentic" i tend to think this song has something to do with the vertigo of fame...doing something that seems so ordinary, like writing and singing a song, and then suddenly BAM you're sort of famous.
