sounds to me like it's about sexual impurity. the pills would be ecstasy or other such drugs. then after it wears off they realize that they shouldn't have done what they did. but they try to justify it with the "everybody else does it" excuse. he knows what he's doing is wrong, but his mind is "so x-rated" that he doesn't stop.
