Sounds to me like the singer is on the hunt for satan. "You thought that you had killed me... Didn't know what you'd create." Sounds like satan put the singer through a very tought trial or something like that, and the singer has not been defeated, but in fact, has "risen from the grave" and come back.
Might not be satan, but maybe just sin in general.
