this is my favorite song on oh! calcutta! it's funny, a lot of people who have listened to this album do not really give credit to this song. but the drumming, guitars, and bass are all amazing. i think the lyrics and how the vocals are strewn together really make for one of the most unique songs on the album. at the same time, it's trademark larry arms. reminds me a little bit of the revisionist in the style its composed.

anyway, a lot of the songs on this record have to do with abandoning regrets. the part that i really love is when chris sings, A REVOLUTION ON MY MIND, that whole 2nd verse is great.

Our history creeps fast through the gutters. A revolution on my mind Guess what? I give a shit But I couldn't care less about the lives they choose to live And your eyes speak to me deeper and deeper, a truth that i have never known. The twilight feels right, the shadows fade into oblivion.
