I might have to conclude that this is my favorite Talking Heads song....either this or Sax and Violins. I've always thought this song was about a girl who get's a different guy everynight and just takes a guys breath away...then leaves the next day and blows them off afterwards. David Byrne basically states that he won't let her do that to him and thus she falls in love with him(I'm gonna take you for a ride, and hit you right between the eyes), only for him to blow her off the next day (I shot you down, who's gonna help you now?) and for some reason, she's turned on by him blowing her off. This song is sooooo amazing, once I start listening to this song, it really takes a lot to take me away from it!
