im probably restating some things i said in my previous post, but, whatever... i was listening to this song recently and thought, maybe the message that edsel was trying to get across was that you have to have something to live for(or in this case, sing) and if you dont, whats the point in going on?(kind of ties in with a famous quote, not sure who said this, but it goes something like " if you have nothing to live for, then you are already dead). To go along with that, maybe hes saying that everybody has something, no matter how down and out they are, there is always somebody or something you can look forward to
