I don't quite get why everyone is calling this "horrible." While the sound is very different from what OAR normally goes for, it doesn't mean that the song is all that bad. Imagine if this was just produced by a no-name band.
While the song itself is a little depressing and touches on a feeling that is a bit overused, I think it presents it very well.
The first part is pretty generic showing this situation of a love failed in a very plain way, however the chorus really does describe the feelings of unrequientd love in a somewhat unique way and new sound than I've seen in most songs. It's very strong and energetic. It's as though the protagonist isn't just remenesing during the chours and instead confronting the old love. I'm still not sure as to the part before the last chorus "But here we go again" is this a hint as to a new light for love? Even if it has the expectation to fail (at the woman's fault) again?
It may not be an american pie, but when you're in your car, listening to the radio it ain't that bad.
