I guess the thing about this song that hits me so hard is the idea of someone that takes the best of you, and keeps on taking, and you can't seem to do nothing about it. I've been fighting to let go of someone but is never gone completely, and he has a serious relationship while I am still stuck. He feels something and keeps hanging around saying how he cares for me...but not even close to what I feel for him. It's just not fair. Like Dublin Sky, the girl wanted him...but just not enough to dive (or in other words, to take a chance on him).
And it's been so long (6 years on july), and it gets heavier and heavier. Me wasting all these years and feeling so bad about it, nights and days of regrets and myself questioning: how long will it take to get rid of that bitterness and will I ever be healed?. And most important: was it worth at all?.
