I can relate Miss :( "I'd rather have you close than never at all"...I've done that for so long, not falling out completely because of being scared of losing even the presence of this guy that became much more than I expected him to. I guess I didn't mind being controlled or misused as long as he's there.

Those lines are pure truth to me. This guy and I are basically nothing, not even a love affair (maybe former really close friends). But I still have him in my mind all the time, dreaming or making plans with "the ghost of what was there"!!!. Which is soul-killing. You just don't realize that the other person's feelings are just not that strong as yours and you don't understand their rejection, or indifference, or random interest.
