i've loved this song forever. for some reason, if you are acquainted with the OC and the relationship between Seth and Summer, it always reminds me of them.
for me, the guy is singing to the girl and expressing to her that like nothign means more to him than making their presence known, their togetherness known to everyone. adn mabye this won't happen, he's still madly in love with her. for me it's basically him explaining to her how much she means to him and the impression she has made on him is one that he can't let go. and he'll love her even if it's not right for whatever reasons.
