Ah, yes...such a great song for this particular moment in my life. I believe it's a song about liking someone, them perhaps not reciprocating the feelings, and you trying to get over that but at the same time wanting them close by just for the sake of having them close by. And although you know it's not good for you to be around this person if you want to get over them, you can't help yourself because they are like a drug...their presence or their voice can just tie you over for that moment, like a quick fix.
