yeah, a few things are wrong; prophets=profits (man, Nostradumas is making everything so difficult!), knife=naive. I don't get the song too well, though.
I mean, obviously the narrator is stealing Isabelle's man. But aside from that, nothing about the people in the song is clear--we don't even know if Isabelle and the guy are married, or she just loves him, or what.
My guess: Isabelle is married to the guy and they're both a lot older than the narrator. Isabelle just stays at home most of the time and doesn't understand "the ways of the world," and she's shocked and upset that her husband, who travels a lot, cheats on her.
