jeff walters (annihilator) plays the best damb solo on the album

also this song portrays metal as a religion, that defends the 'oppressed creature',

the 'voice of the voiceless' was a term karl marx used in his 'opium of the masses' speach, or at least i think it was in a speach. its a very telling term- only a true marxist would use it as it is realitivly obscure. this is probably because the capitalist media only like to report things that marx said if they sound like he is criticizing goodd things.

realy what he was arguing is that religion was a good thing but that it had been warped by capitalist ideologies into an opiet that kept the prolateriate seddated.

when he described it as 'the voice of the voiceless, the heart of a heartless system, and the cry of the oppressed creature' he was listing its virtues but highlighting their pointlessness whilst it was controlled by the bourgeoise, and arguing that true happiness comes only from a just and fair society not the promise of a just and fair afterlife
