Amyliscious, that woman "dead as fuck" is Laura Palmer from the ever so fabulous TV show TWIN PEAKS, at least that's what the band said at the Brighton Dome Concert:

But I seriously have no clue about the connection of the character Laura Palmer to the lyrics of "Laura". Maybe the Scissor Sisters wanted to create a mystery, just like the show was. I don't know...
