Tupac had a talent for capturing the horror of the inner city streets in his lyrics. This song really evokes alot of emotions- it is quite disturbing. Although the meaning is pretty straight-forward, the message is very deep. Teen pregnancy was and is still a huge social problem (apart from other thing problems he raps about in this song)Tupac chose to look at it from a sympathetic point of view- which is very original and thought-provoking. I have so much respect for him as a poet, rapper and social activist, because let's face it- alot of his songs express the harsh realities of the ghetto and of poverty in North America.
