No it does not make them good... all of their old stuff had deep meanings and thats why they were f'ing amazing. they did this for themselves mostly, they didnt make music to sound good, their lyrics were almost theraputic for themselves. These new lyrics were made because they were trying to appease to people and make it sing-songy unlike their old stuff
