To make it simple it is the ''the way'' one must take to work with the universe... It is the the guideline of conduct, to be undertaken to achieve happiness and enlightment... Like you can imagine, it is a teaching of love and respects towards everything you come across...
I like how Jethro communicate the fact that we has living beeing are not completly free... I think the writer meant to say that ''Karma'' will come eventually... Therefore we are not free because whatever wrong actions we undetake will come back to nail us...
