The Ghostships are some of the Fall of Troy's best works, and are slated to be released together (I, IV, and V were released on an EP and II is played live by the band)). I've only heard 4 of them, but I think there will eventually be something like 7 or 8 of them; please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, I've gathered that they tell the story of the unfortunate crew of a ship (I'm guessing some kind of battleship or pirate ship, seeing as how the crew is armed and fire their weapons) and their encounter with a Ghostship. The inhabitants of the Ghostship (or perhaps the ship itself) then attack the unsuspecting crew.
Ghostship Pt. I introduces the characters of the ensuing story and logs their initial meeting with the Ghostship. A fight breaks out, then a crew member notices that the ship begins to sink. The crew is then transported to this surreal, dreamlike Hell world that we see in the later chapters.
couldn't it possibly be more that the crew wasn't but it was just one of the crew going mad, or getting possessed? I mean, we're only seeing the story from his perspective, right?
