I'd just discovered them in '87 or '88 (actually, I'd just discovered that there was popular music out there that was really good — I was just a kid and the '80s in America was largely a cultural wasteland), so (Kiss Me)^3 was the first album of theirs I got (drove my parents mad, I'm sure, listening to music nonstop!).
