First post on my fave song!
A confused love. He knows he isn't good enough for her but he doesn't want her to go to "him".
If the girl did put up with all this then she must have really loved him too. but now she's had enough. Got someone else. someone who treats her better but may not hold the same passion as her previous relationship.
The chords on -One more drink and I'll be fine
One more girl to take you off my mind- part suit the song perfectly. Magic numbers are so far better than people think they are. even people who like them. they just hear the music and say, it's cool. but they don't Listen to it. it's well good. Well good.
I imagine they all accidently meet in a club/bar then he keeps havin his one more drink and flirtin with loadsa girls at the other end of the room. after a while his violent tendencies come out then it all kicks off which is shown by the final guitary bit. but he loses the fight and the girl still goes home with "him". Indicated by the final defeatist notes played at the end. Wonder if they meant this? lol
