i agree with cyrstal rainbow. kurts death still seems to have an effect on dave - its clearly expressed in his lyrics. also, this song was probably written in 2004 - ten years after after kurts death and so it makes even more sense that dave would write a song about him and finally realise that now its time for some 'resolve'. all the references to kurt are there to support that. in fact, i think the album title 'in your honour' is also a reference to honouring kurt - aswell as some other things. and since its the foos ten year anniversary daves obviously got nostalgic and wrote a whole bunch of songs about the most obvious events that happened in the past 10 years - kurts death being one of them.
