This song has helped me through a lot. I found out I had two serious medical conditions half a year ago, and as I was struggling to cope with school, and friends and being sick, this song gave me strength. It made me realise that no matter how hard things get, I'm not alone, and I can get through it. Even when it was one bad thing after another, and I felt like there was never going to be an end, this song helped me by encouraging me to know that I shouldn't give up hope. I used to feel like I was letting everyone down by crying, and the line "know that you're allowed to cry" took a weight off my shoulders and allowed me to not keep everything bottled up inside. It's a beautiful, inspirational song and I love it.
