i love this song...it might even be my favorite on this album. i think its about trying to get over a hard break up, particularly being dumped by someone you love. i love the lines:

getting the skeptic to believe

it rings true for me in finding it hard to believe that a break up was not a personal attack or attempt to hurt me.
