This song is so simple and still so true. It has been my song for so long now...Even when the sound is cool and melow, I find the lyrics particularly sad...because to me it's accepting that the person you are in love with (or involved with) will never be completely yours, but you are still so attached to him/her. It's like you know it's a lost cause but you can't avoid the sentiment and the pain this "could have been" situation brings to you...sad sad.
