This song, on my view, talks about this girl that he can't really forget, can't stop thinking about and talks about it with someone else. I have the exact same situation, where I treat my history teacher as my therapist and talk to her all about this girl, how I like her so much, how I hate the guy she's going out with, and how I wish I never screwed up in the first place and maybe we could have gone out instead.
