I think Jagfire is close. I wouldn't have thought of the alcohol aspect. My first thoughts were that it was a song about suicide - jail break >> last night in my body. In light of what Jagfire suggests: The prison is the body, in which the mind is master (warden).
Warden's calling for a lockdown:
Separate yourself from the outside world
Call on interim inequities:
Dwell on things that are not right in your life
Last night in my body; assist in the escape:
Thinking of suicide, drink to numb yourself to the act
Then, of course, the alcohol.
The rest I'm not sure of. I think that walking outside, arm in arm so that all we've done is not in vain:
means that you were not able to commit to the act - Somehow for now this skin will have to do. This is the last night in my body.

You're still contemplating the act.
