I don't know why, but many people have never heard this song, but it's like a symphony. Each and every word has its meaning.
The "Always and forever is forever young" line is, to me, an expression of belief. One thing will be forever young and this shall be love, if we believe in love, awlays and forever will forever be young.
Your shadow on the pavement - Even the sun has it's dark side, and usually we can see that there is sun by looking at the shadows. Maybe you're alone and your shadow is the only one around you?
And the blues - even the sad times have their colour - we shouldn't make them black and white?
And it's hope that spring, the season of love, of happiness, is eternal for everyone - not just for ourselves.
Violet, the colour of romance and love (that's how I understand it) melts away in the rainbow - our colourful life.
