I never thought about this song that way untill i someone mentioned the friends with benifets idea. I also think however that it could still be about someone who falls in love with a good freind. It's easy to have a great friendship with sombody and for that friendship to blossom into love.
Both theories make sense, but i choose to believe mine cause i can relate to it :)
