My original lyrics for "Deflowered" went, "You're my post-feminist rocker girl," but I changed it to, "You're one bad bitchin' whore." Because I thought, "What am I really saying?" I like the idea of women taking back words like "bitch," "slut," and "whore"-using them to have power. Instead of being afraid and letting people call you those names, enabling them to make you feel bad, it's shoving those words back in their faces.
