I agree that Legion is about doubts. This is how I interpret: I've been brought up to believe in something, whether it's God or whatever. Now I'm on my deathbed, and my faith, whatever it is that I've been believing my whole life, is being tested. So, here I am dying, and I ask myself all sorts of questions: Where am I going to be when I "close my eyes" (i.e., die)? Will I go to heaven, or hell? "Will I dream?" Or will I be anywhere at all?
