I think that the song has something to do with sex, but i'm not sure about splattering sperm on someone's face. lol. It is possible, though, but I think he means that their relationship was based on sex, therefore "The best of us was left in your sheets."
I saw the splattering paint line as more of an angry 'I'm going to kill you by splattering your own blood on your face' kind of thing.
