while this isn't a bad song, it sounds to me that they didn't finish it. it sounds like they didn't give it much work in the studio. layne's vocals sound pretty different from usual, notably in the chorus. i'm not saying it sounds bad, just pretty different.

I wish we'd have got a bit more work on that one. It's more "Alice In A Jam Room", it's not as finished as "Born Again". It's vicious, it's got teeth, it doesn't have many overdubs and it's maybe a purer, rawer form of what Alice is. It isn't pretty and that's not a bad thing at all.

As far as the vocals go, a large part of it was the effects of Layne's extended heavy drug use for years, especially his rotting...

Personally, I still love the song, it's one of my favorite songs of theirs along with Get Born Again, which were the last two songs Layne recorded with Alice in Chains, in 1998, before he died in 2002.
