i am amazed by the way they changed from their first album in 1987 named "Goo Goo Dolls" (very creative, haha.) to their second one in 1989 named "Jed".. of course, they still have some of the annoying same-sounding rythm in Jed, but at least their is some change.. in goo goo dolls, however, this is their best song... it has some kind of country-sound to it during the stanzas and is not only the same punk-alike dumb-ass music. they changed to be good acoustic pop/rock artists.. as you can see the early stuff is not what i am into.. i prefer the style they reached over the years. (and i guess this is how a lot of people feel, because this is the only song anyone commented on of the whole goo goo dolls album...)
