To me this song is like "Hair" from 'GodLovesUgly' but from another perspective. Hair was more about the actual step-by-step interaction between Slug and the girl, including snippets of conversation between them, while Reflections is more about his thought processes in snagging the chick at the bar. He is anyalsing her words and actions, determing if she has a brain, and formulating his plan of attack based on his observations.
