we make mistakes... and we live with the consequences.
sometimes you don't realize what you have.
you take a chance. you go off in a completely new direction hoping to find something "better"-- but the thing is, you realize that what you had was the best thing you could have hope for. --but when you reach for it, you find that its gone. you've abandoned it.
i'm guilty. guilty. guilty. of that.
&living with the consequences... letting something slip through my fingers is the most painful thing. knowing that you had it but YOU risked it-- hurts the most. because when you want to blame someone else, you can only look in the mirror.
