possibly... i don't doubt it, it probably has a couple meanings, like many of Floater's songs. probably something to do with how people in general allow themselves to be enslaved by these drugs, or alcohol (as many songs on the cd point towards alcohol abuse) and thus, being a "pet" of the substance.
i like at the beginning when it says "Only one is a wanderer, two together are always going somewhere"
