I heard this song at Old Navy during this Christmas time (2005). Anyways, great song. I'm thinking that it's about a guy who was not ready to be in a relationship with a girl, she waited for him and continued to love/like him. Anyways, now he's ready and is asking her to be with him, but she's not so sure. He's trying to explain his situation ("there's times you feel unlockable"=can't be reached by others), in order to convince the girl that he's really ready (for the relationship). It's pretty straightforward (it'd be funny if I was totally off and I called it straightforward).
