I think there's a "I dont belong here" feeling and me too I try to find my soul in the city but it seems to be somewhere else. The city can be very depressing and affecting to me sometimes. Weird but I can't get used to my own city even though I've lived here forever. And I also search a soul in the city, that's what I do while the long walks, wandering around alone, sitting and watching the passers by in a park, on the bus, in a shop, .... Sometimes I catch a little glimpse but it generally ends up in frustration. So to me this song helps me express the undirectable anger and frustration to my city, where's the soul in it?
