The lyrics, to me at least, is basically like the opening up of a person. The lyricist tells how he felt, how he feels, and what he did, and what he done. He's trying to let go of the past and his mistakes by burying it deep inside him, but the thought still remains the same. The hurt doesn't go away, and becomes unseen to others.
