I think it's about a girl that has a boyfriend, and yet she feels that he doesn't really like her and perhaps is just with her for the physical benefits (i.e. sex, making out) and such.. and he says that he knows her, but she honestly does doubt it. She perhaps sees him staring at other girls, or going to other people for comfort when SHE'S his girlfriend. She wonders "would you take the time to catch me if I fall?" as if she doubts that he's really there for me...
