Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13.35). i see nothing in there about not watching secular movies or music. Maybe God is more glorified by HIs creation doing something well than by a Christian half-heartedly singing what we've come to term "worship music." A lot of music played by non-Christians is better than music played by Christians. Perhaps God is even offended when we slap the label "Christian" on a song or album because we, as the church, are not doing our best to glorify Him in many areas of our lives: creating good music being one. Bottom line: "The earth is the Lord's and EVERYTHING in it" (Psalm 24.1). May Christians be known--above all else--for their love. And may all glory be to God because of it.
