first i'd like to state that these lyrics are partially wrong. the last 2 lines of the 1st verse are as follows "has it ever occured to you. I'll be gone and you will too"..the 1st 2 lines of the chorus are also incorrect.. the correct lyrics are as follows "Ive wanted to tell you. So let me hold you."
now that i have the corrections out of the way, i think this song is a love song. The singer is talking about a girl that he is into but she doesnt live near. in the 1st verse i think he is saying that life is short and that he and his lady should spend as much time together as possible while they still can. In the 2nd verse i think he is saying that his life was very boring and uneventful before this girl "strolled over" into his life. The chorus is bascially saying that he just wants to hold this girl forever and never let go because he likes her so much.
this is a really great song, i listen to it over and over and over again..this is another great example of how the hurt process really does a superb job of ending songs in such a way that they make you want more...these guys are really really great screamo and if you dont know about them, get on it!
