i like how copeland kind of mellowed out the beginning of the record with this song. the opening "No one really wins" totally gets me tapping on the dashboard. then "sleep" comes on and i can breathe (and stop mowing over old ladies). the raw sound of the vocals reminds me a lot of ben folds, as does the piano. however, lyrically copeland is so much more poetic. the cellphone line annoys me though. the whole song sounds lovely and mature, and then i hear cellphone and feel like a loser teenager listening to badly written emo. but they redeem themselves with the awesomeness of the rest of the song, so i still think its one of the best on the album.
