I'm not sure if they typed up the lyrics correctly but anyway... it's about how she can't be herself because Hollywood or whatever wants her to be something, like an image... which isn't the real her. But she has to hide her inner self in order to not lose it since she's stuck pretending/acting/putting on a facade.
