He believes that God has taken his life away and has left him no choice but to avenge their death, “...avenge my family’s pride.” He has been given an even greater punishment by God, then the death of his family; he feels alone and vengeful. He tells God that he cannot turn the other cheek and that he will never be alright, even when he kills the murderer.
