as much as i love this song, i still am having a hard time figuring out what it means.
I think maybe a metaphorical assassin also, like a really bad boyfriend you cant leave ... or somthing ...
@wildlikechildren -- It's about somebody who's most likely been hurt by some others before, doesn't trust anybody, and therefore destroys whatever he/she begins to feel any sort of emotional response from. Gets rid of relationships before they can take hold, and so on.
