NO" -- The president is remembering a slain civil rights leader yet he won't fight for gay marriage, or for all intents and purposes, gay rights, so he obviously DOESN'T understand what the martyr stood for. Condoleezza doesn't get it either, and that's the joke. The thing is this song isn't supposed to be funny, I don't think. It's an extremely serious topic, and yes they're making fun of Condoleezza, but it's not really funny at the same time. Great song.
