To me the first line sounds like
'oh no, another bad day, waste of promises'
then
'are we really getting nearer?'
i reckon its
'kick off your work shoes...' aswell?!
theres a bit that sounds like 'and MTVs so monumental' if that would make sense??
'take the day off work' is the second to last line
and i think its 'home' not 'room' in the second verse!
