I heard this song on Buffy (the end of the Halloween episode, season 2). Anyways, I was a bit of a fan of Treble Charger prior to this song, but this song is awesome! But on to the meaning...I believe this song is about a guy who likes a girl, but she used him, not maliciously, according to her. So now, he's finally mustered the strength to just leave. He no longer cares about her feelings ("I close my eyes, I don't wanna find out how she died"--doesn't want to see her when he leaves, how she reacts is not important)--he just wants to get out of it.
