I know it sounds like soul, but I'm almost positive he says "Thought so..." Imo this song is like a wake up call. You're living in thought, imagination. He's saying get off your ass and do something. He doesn't care how you feel, hes going to tell you how it is. Burning you with his lighter to snap you back into reality from your thoughts. You try to tune him out, but you can't. Life is hell.
